Picnic in the Park
I was very happy to be invited by Carole Matthews to attend the last event for The Chocolate Lovers' Wedding. It was a picnic in Golders Hill Park in Hampstead Heath, which is a very special venue as it was where the inspiration for one of the weddings in the book came from and what a corker of a location it was!! I have to admit I have been to a lot of places in London (having been born and bred in South East London), but I have never been to Hampstead before! What a beautiful, bohemian, buzzing place it is, but with the most beautiful greenery and hidden treasures
The gorgeous venue for our picnic and Carole even brought Her Majesty along for the afternoon!

The Pergola with the tiled floor is the venue of one of the weddings in the book.
Carole even gave us a pretty box with wedding favours in. Thank you Yvette for putting signs up with directions to the venue!!
