Happy publication day to Sarah Morgan! The wonderful Julie Williams has reviewed all of the authors' previous books and loves them! Thank you Julie for yet another great review!
This is second instalment of the fabulous Manhattan With
Love series brings us back to New York with Frankie’s story, which is briefly
touched on in the first book Sleepless In Manhattan. Frankie has been deeply
affected by her parents’ divorce and vows to stay single, not daring to enter a
relationship, instead she is content sharing her life with her best friends
Paige and Eve, knowing they are always only a few steps away.
Matt who is Paige’s brother and also their landlord, is
protective and handsome. Although they have been friends for over 20 years
there is definitely a mutual sexual tension between them that Frankie can’t or won’t
‘see’. This I feel is because Frankie has been vulnerable and insecure for so
long now and now has to decide if this is how she wants her life to be or can
her feelings overcome her fears?
It’s great to revisit some of the characters from Sarah’s
Puffin Island trilogy when Frankie reluctantly returns. I didn’t realise how much I missed them!
Sunset In Central Park is packed with laughter, tears, fun
and of course romance. Although this is
the second book in this trilogy it can be read as a standalone, but why would
you want to miss out on what’s happening in this wonderful series.
Look out for
the next novel in the series Miracle On 5th Avenue which is being
released on 20th October 2016 as this time it will be the lovely
Eve’s story and I personally can’t wait.
