I am so excited about this book as you could have knocked me down with a feather when I got a message from the author (who is a dear blogging friend of mine for a few years now) to say she had written a book and would I read it and be a part of the blog tour! She didn't have to ask me twice and you will find my review below. It just goes to prove that if you have a dream you should follow it and never give up. Well done Annette, I can't wait for your next one!

Here comes the bride...Lucy Woods has always dreamed of running her very own wedding venue. After moving her eight-year-old son to the countryside she's surprised to find the perfect location and her best friend, Abbie, eager to help make that dream a reality! Review
Lucy and her son Jackson pack up their car and head to her Grandad's house to start a new life. It seemed the perfect time to start afresh, she could look after her Grandad, who was in a nursing home recovering from a fall and give her son the new start he craved in the countryside.


When Lucy reaches the cottage by the side of a railway track with it's delightful signal box that her Grandad used to work in, Jackson is beside himself with glee and can't wait to take a look, but the years have not been kind to the old signal box and if Lucy's idea of doing it up to become a wedding venue to aid her new business venture, then she will need to possibly win the lottery and fast...


Lucy's friend Abbie is also pleased that she has moved back so that they can pick up their friendship, but Abbie's brother Dom is not pleased that a child and unruly dog have moved into the village, but when he realises that the child and dog belong to Lucy, will he change his mind and mellow a bit?


This lovely story has a great mix of characters and with the goings on of Lucy's Grandad and his "friends" in the care home, many parts had me in stitches!


I would truly recommend this fabulous debut as it will leave you feeling all fuzzy inside. Thank you to the author for asking me to review. Bring on the next one...
